Montignac one of the prettiest little towns within the Perigord Noir, friendly and busy , it's bustling weekly market on a Wednesday morning sells everything from local produce to furniture and giftware, during high season there is an evening market of local produce and wine one evening during the week, you can sit and sample your purchases whilst absorbing the convivial atmosphere.
Most of the restaurants throughout the town have pavement eating/drinking areas were you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere, or for total chill out choose one of the riverside restaurants to sit and idle away the hours.
